Like a conductor of an symphony orchestra a project manager have to make sure that every participant in spite of different qualifications and tasks work with same assignment (piece of music), doing the best they can on the right time in a perfect timing.

SAP HCM Project Management is in many ways no different from other project management disciplines. The aim is to organize and manage resources in such a way that the project is completed within defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.

But there are also special issues within SAP HCM Project Management which are of major importance to ensure a successful project. In GAVDI we have extracted the special focus areas of SAP HCM projects and build these into our general project management skills in the following ways:

Only Project Management with deep knowledge of SAP HCM. All project managers in GAVDI are assigned to one of the specialist teams and they have many years of experience as consultants which guarantees the understanding of the complexity within a HCM-project and all its integrations point.
Special focus on cooperation in and organization of the project. To drive successful HCM implementations, it is essential to combine the right resources from both GAVDI and the customer to assure a high level of competence with regards to solution and decisions. This applies to areas like pay-roll, talent management, etc.
Extended Quality Assurance for areas like Pay-roll and Time is an integrated part of Project Management and visible in the project plan - meaning QA on every milestone.
Focused HCM Methods and Tools. Our Project Management is based on the GAVDI Implementation Method including our special Accelerators. This is supplemented with ASAP and state-of-the-art tools for project management. GAVDI is flexible if the customer prefers other project management tools as long as the level of QA is not compromised.
Organizational implementation. A perfect technical solution is worth nothing if it is not used correctly or not understood by the daily users.
