The critical issue for a HCM implementation is not industry knowledge like in the supply chain area. The main prerequisite for a HCM implementation is an in-depth understanding of HCM business processes, pay-roll calculation, pension schemes, talent management objectives, etc. HCM is a horizontal layer across industry verticals.
