The starting point for us is you as an individual - your personality, skills and values. In our different teams such as in assignments, projects and competence teams you interact with others - who on one side may be different from you but on the other side like you strives to achieve the best. We see this as the best way to create a dynamic and fun working environment – and an environment which allows you to grow.
| Be you | In GAVDI there is no fixed type of consultant. Our people all have different backgrounds, skills, priorities and interests. We want people who at the same time can complement and challenge us.
In GAVDI we have an open-minded culture. We expect our people to express opinions, grab opportunities with both hands, and try out new ideas.
Dress-code? In GAVDI we do not believe in dress-codes. But as professionals, we always try to blend in with our customers.
| | Team Up | Being in GAVDI is being a member of not one but many teams. Throughout your time in GAVDI you will interact with many people.
You are a member of the Country Team where you will participate in our local culture, our team events, have assignments for local customers and contribute to developing our country unit.
You are also a member of project teams, development teams, task assignment teams, etc. Teams created for customer assignments where we worked closely together to meet our objectives.
You will be part of a competence team such as the Pay-roll Team or the Portal Team. Your role here is to develop GAVDI further within your special area of expertise. By leaning yourself, helping and mentoring others or setting the direction.
And finally you are a team member in GAVDI – an international consultancy. If you want to try the challenges of living, working and developing outside your own home country, we will support you. But also through our competence teams, you will have the possibility to interact with the best specialists form the different countries.
| | Act Professionally | In GAVDI you are treated like a professional.
You are in charge of your own working life. But this freedom goes hand-in-hand with self-responsibility. We trust all our consultants to be able to take responsibility of their own working situation – but of course in interaction with our project managers and other customer responsible persons.
And being a professional consultant at GAVDI is not only about your technical SAP skills. You also need to be a true consultant. The commitment to our customers always comes first. We expect you to take responsibility for your own behaviour, skills, development and behaviour towards our customers.
| | Develop | Being a consultant is a life-long development path. And life at GAVDI is to pursue that path.
We always urge our consultants to develop their technical skills. To become deeper into your area of specialisation – or to become broader by learning new areas. Being a specialist we also take pride in being at the forefront of SAP Technologies and follow then as they matures. This is the basis of advising our customers in the right direction.
But we also urge our people to grow in other areas. To become better in mentoring, consulting, training, presenting, managing, etc. We do not believe in predefined career paths. Developing is an individual discipline which we try to address together during our Employee Development talks every 6 months.
| | Enjoy Work | Life – and especially working life – is too short to only be about hard work. In GAVDI we take pride in enjoying our working life. Even during periods of hard-work we make sure to celebrate milestones and achievements, to keep up a good and humorous environment and just to have fun together. This attitude is also highly valued by our customers. |
